Parametric Estimating Handbook Fourth Edition

The Fourth Edition of the Parametric Cost Estimating Handbook is now available below (there are two PDF files: the basic handbook and the associated appendices); this final Fourth Edition is an extension of the Third.

The primary change from the draft to the final were in the areas of Basis of Estimate description, requirements and uses. Parametric Estimating has evolved considerably in the four years since the Third Edition and this update reflects those new and evolutionary trends.

The Fourth Edition contents were culled from over one thousand pages of possible subject matter. All this subject matter was worthy and difficult decisions concerning inclusion had to be made by the Handbook management team. This team consisted of:

* David Eck, DCAA

* Bill Brundick, WEB Enterprises

* Tony Fettig, Lockheed Martin Space Systems

* Jason Dechoretz, MCR

* Joan Ugljesa, MCR

* Jerry McAfee, DCAA

An entire listing of contributors is shown in the Preface. Additional details about the contents of the Handbook are in the front materials (Preface and Introduction).
